I cannot stop thinking about this book. I miss this book already. I want more of this book.

This book was unlike any other book I've read and I have a strong feeling it's going to be my favourite book of this year - maybe even my favourite of all time.

I absolutely loved the way the story was crafted and the writing style - the writing style was my favourite aspect! It was just amazing!

At no point did the book feel too slow and the plot was so fascinating, it was executed brilliantly.

I don't know what else to really say...I don't think my words could do this book justice.

A compelling, beautifully told story of how a strange, unknown virus affects various residents of the town where it first appears. Dreamily written, but still a page turner. I feel confident I'll be thinking about this one for a while. Recommend to fans of her first book, fans of speculative fiction, and anyone who had spent time pondering the nature of dreams.

Kept my attention the whole way through. Very easy to read. A little eerie reading it during the coronavirus pandemic!

A small town falls under a sleeping spell via an unknown virus. A little mysterious and meditative, some nice prose throughout. A bit of self-aware college-level philosophy littered throughout that goes nowhere novel or interesting, unfortunately similar to the plot.

The writing was nice, but the ending was as abrupt as waking from a good dream, left you wanting more. Maybe this was on purpose, but ultimately, it meant the book ended on a 'meh'.

I'd still make the decision to read again, it was a nice enough journey.

I really enjoyed this book. It reads like a foggy hike in the woods. The unfortunate side effect is that I didn't connect with anything except the dreams.
