I’ll be honest, I overreacted a little in my last update of Fall. Saying I hated every character and wanted a meteor shower to take them all out might have been a bit dramatic… but I low key don’t take it back.
There is not a single reason this book needed to be 510 pages long. I went in with such high expectations after loving the first three books, and at first, I was all in. Jaxon and Lennon had great chemistry, and I was excited to see their story unfold. But somewhere along the way, the charm wore off. Their relationship started to feel repetitive, and by the last stretch of the book, I was dreading picking it up. But I had already bought it, and I just couldn’t bring myself to DNF it, so I suffered on.
And seriously, if I had to read the word coochie one more time, I was going to gouge my eyes out.
That being said, I can admit I got a little dramatic in my frustration. I didn’t fully hate the book, it had moments I enjoyed, and I don’t regret sticking it out. But it was definitely a letdown after how much I had hyped it up.

I’ve enjoyed every book in this series, and this one didn’t disappoint one bit! The tension, the banter, the story, the development, all done extremely well. Being able to see Jaxon’s goofy and sweet sides was so beautiful.

I loved this book so much. Jax probably replaced Carter in the DILF list. Um cat photoshoots *swoon*. The chemistry, spice and storyline, everything was so perfect. Can't wait for the next book
