This is what our FMC got๐ก๏ธ๐ซ
Amira Ramsey born and raised among men wearing leathers and handling daggers. Learning every now and then how to defend and attend the voice of her freedom.
๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ ๐๐ฉ๐๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ฉ: Hiding his identity very well Adrian enters her life and make sure to lead the paths for Amira to be free. I literally fall for a man knowing very well no love comes without pain my heart couldn't hold the truths coming one after another specially the things that come after chap 31 ๐
The moment his character turn from high to low and then goes to bottom I'm not saying much about him (there's a lot more to come)
๐ฟ๐๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ก๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐ง๐ง๐๐๐ค๐ฃ: Ahhhh what should I say for my baby he's everything Amira had and everything she never want. His character built was so beautiful and breathtaking that it turns a simple chemistry (between Amira And Adrian) into love triangle ๐๐
Never judge a book by cover Graylen holds so many things yet until unleashed but the sense of responsibility he give toward Amira sounds much more than I would be expecting from him
Few minus points from (not to say author left anything to pick against her writing skills but) the females other than lead got me confused many times there are many names to remember better give your attention fully while reading ๐คญ๐

This was such a cool story. I hit it out of the park lately with these indie author picks! I enjoyed the hidden identity piece and how the relationship in the book developed from there. Magic is always a wonderful plus and the ending was such a cliffhanger, I can't wait for the next one!

Arc review!
This book was so fast paced I finished it in three days. I was so enthralled with the world and the main character that I forgot I was reading.
I had all my base acotar feels for this book.
I love Amiraโs friendship with Opal. It was my favorite to read about.
This book should definitely be on everyoneโs radar. It was beautifully written and I cannot wait for book 2 already!!

โHe smells like the fresh scent of rain about to fall. But heโs not a pleasant drizzle: heโs a downpour coming down so hard you canโt see more than a few steps in front of you. Heโs the unpredictable storm that rolls in on the clearest day. And somehow, I donโt mind the thought of getting caught in his storm.โ
Yโall. I read this in less than a day. It was SO GOOD. Kara lured me in with Adrian and ensorcelled me with Graylen. My heartโฆ itโs just reeling right now. Especially with that ending! A cliffhanger, but not one that makes you throw your book across the room; no, itโs one that makes you squeal with giddiness and extreme impatience for the sequel.
The first 40% of this book is laying such a firm foundation that you are cemented and committed to its groundwork. The imagery is full and luscious and layered so well that you FEEL everything. It was beautiful. You truly do get to utilize all your imaginationโs five senses here.
I loved the fake dating. Luโs friends were adorable. The plot twists were so fun! And the endingโฆ. Gosh! I felt one thing and then BAM, another. Leaving me rocking in shock.
Magic is outlawed in Crea and there isnโt much information on Penyth in this first installment to know the extent of the magic system yet so Iโm super excited to learn more about that in book two. And also more swoon worthy moments with green eyes. Please, Kara? With strawberries on top?

"Lunaria" by Kara Douglas unfolds as a quiet yet engaging YA fantasy centered around the life of twenty-year-old Amira Ramsey. Amira longs for freedom from her controlling father. She watches the soldiers living alongside her in the training camp and trains in secret to learn to protect herself. When sent to town to shop for her father, she meets a mysterious young man, and the two become fast friends. When The King decides to host a matchmaking event, it thrusts her into the midst of castle life.
This is a charming tale, with Amira navigating the complexities of a life she never wanted. I especially liked the portrayal of Amira's relationships with her relatively few human and animal friends.
That said, I don't understand the motivations behind the late-book villain. The character seemed wooden and some of the actions of everyone were a little unrealistic with leaps of logic that were necessary for the plot. The beginning was also incredibly slow and I had a difficult time getting into the story. I do think that there is a lot to love here and it has good bones. I can't wait to see what the author will do with the next book.
Thank you to booksirens and the author for the review copy. All opinions are my own.

I got to read this book before release date and I am sooo glad I got to! It was absolutely wonderful. Honestly I havenโt liked a YA book in quite some time and this sucked me in in. 4.25 stars. Intriguing, fun, and the cliff hangerโฆ. Canโt wait until book two!

The authors writing is slower paced compared to other fantasy book - more of the epic fantasy style similar to Throne of Glass series or the Priory
Of the Orange Tree books. But this writing provides such depth to the characters and their environment that you fall into the story. You empathise with the characters but you also are an observer yelling and disagreeing with their choices.
I thought this was a great story and would love to read the sequel to see what happens next. I have a few theories.

โWhen itโs just us and the night sky above, I feel as if I can think clearly.โ
The writing? Absolutely beautiful. The plot? Enchanting. The characters? Amazing. The plot twists? Mesmerizing. Lunaria by Kara Douglas is incredible.
I genuinely have no words to describe just how much I loved this book (from the characters to the plot). Amira might just be my new favorite female protagonist. Although she is faced with multiple challenges, she never backs down and always stands up for others as well as herself. I loved her selflessness and her determination on her journey to freedom. Additionally, the other characters that help Amira on her journey are beautifully portrayed. I especially loved Linnick because he was truly an amazing friend to Amira. I appreciated the contrasting personalities of both Adrian and Graylen, the two love interests.
Lunaria has a fantastic plot with action, romance, and plot twists. What an amazing first installment of The Unraveled Fate Series. I cannot wait to find out whatโs in store for Amira, Graylen, and Adrian as the series continues.
If you are a fan of romantasy books with a strong FMC and fake datingโฆ.Lunaria is definitely one to read.
