Quick read, basic info, makes sense, hope it works.
A little lacking in terms of plot... Possible unreliable narrator, even though he's a medical doctor... There is some interesting material in here though, particularly the health benefits that come with rapid weight loss, and the benefits of intermittent fasting. I am sceptical, but curious.
Interesting, but...
Michael Moseley writes well and I found the 5:2 diet book both fascinating and helpful in losing weight. This book is also very good - and, of course, offers an update on the current state of scientific knowledge - BUT it is, in many aspects, a rehash of his earlier work. With the addition of Time Restricted Eating. So, good and worth reading, but - in terms of learning something new - limited.

Quick, easy read. Full it simple to understand guidance on 3 different approaches to dieting. Looking forward to trying you the 800cal and 5:2 fasting.
About a 3rd of the book is made up of simple low calorie recipes that if you do any cooking are things you are likely to have made in the past.

It was ok. His science seems to brazed on a lot of story telling and personal experiences so I discredit it somewhat. It was a quick listen.
