not my fave but this was fun to read! i’m interested to see what the rest of the series is like (:
It wasn’t great but I was on vacation and stuck with it. Maybe the other books are better. I just couldn’t get behind Emerson as a FMC.. she wasn’t quite relatable enough. Maverick was so typical, the Carter Beckett archetype and I’ve never been a fan of that. I might buy the next one in the series and then decide for good if I’m really in or out with this series.
