I love this book. At times Helen got on my nerves, but I really appreciate a main character who is a little lost and watching her grow was great. I reread this book because I’ve been going through it and this was exactly what I needed.

Okay weirdly enough, not my favorite by her and I usually LOVE her books. I'm assuming because it's one of her older publications? There was a strong effort for this to be a moving and motivational tale about finding oneself even if it feels no progress is made but it really fell flat for me. I wish we saw Jake and Helen more at the end. It just left me feeling kinda meh. It was cute and a quick read and had some great moments. i'm intrigued to see if I like the movie more.

This book had me interested and I wanted to give it a chance. This book isn’t my usual reading themes of chick-lit and travel so I was a bit nervous about whether I’d like it. I really enjoyed this book! Honestly, I loved a lot about this book as the journey of Helen’s life was so great. Some of these characters are fantastic and people I’d love to be friends with. Words and advice said in this story hit me in the brain and heart. Pretty sure I’ll be buying my own copy in the future.
There was a minor issue that shouldn’t have existed. There is a part where a brother and sister talk is happening and somehow the brother’s name (Duncan) gets switched with his best friend’s name(Jake). It was weird since Duncan was talking about Jake who wasn’t even in the state when this mishap happened. I get that it’s a minor editing mistake as it’s a one word mistake in a novel. Somehow though this mistake was also on the audiobook. How can this mistake not be noticed when someone is reading it for a recording!?

Just lovely. A very cute feel good book, still with some very serious moments. I thought it’d be far too silly but love when I’m wrong!
