This is my second Katherine Center book and I must say…She knows what she’s doing!! There’s so many beautiful life lessons you can take away from this novel. The romance is pure and warm and sweet. Loved it!

Katherine Center is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors! This book was a quick, fun read but it also prompted lots of self reflection.

I read everyday but I don’t often enjoy it. So when I need something to redeem my faith in books, I naturally pick up a Katherine Centre book.

Her books are lighthearted in the best way and they’re just the right amount of cringe.

They’re guaranteed to make me smile and that’s what I love in a book.

Her writing style is humorous, easy to read, as well as relatable,

Even if I don’t love the main character, Katherine Center has a way of putting me into their shoes: when they feel rejected, I feel it too; when they feel jealous, so do I; when they’re happy, I am too.

And despite the title, I didn’t actually expect the book to teach me anything on happiness but somehow it did! I love the “appreciate three good things” technique and hope to implement it into my own life.

Three good things about this book are:
-The font (I really liked it).
-Windy - I loved her.
-Beckett, although I did hate him at the beginning.

It’s clear that KC researches topics in her books because I usually seem to end up learning something :)

This wasn’t my favourite KC book, probably because I wasn’t rooting for
Helen and Jake to be together
at all? I wanted
him to get with Windy
lol. And as a hopeless romantic, it’s rare that I don’t love the romance in a book. Nevertheless , I mostly enjoyed reading this!

TL;DR More enjoyable than most books I read, but not the best KC book. The side characters > Helen and Jake.
