Interesting twist to the story. Not a whole lot happen for 70% of the book, but rather establishing a whole new alternate reality of the world of Sleeping Beauty and the build up to Alyce's path. Then an explosion of things at the end, all to leave the majority of Sleeping Beauty story to the next book. Although it would be interesting to see how the 2nd book pans out. It can go so many different ways for Alyce. This storyline didn't interest me a whole lot, but it was still interesting enough that I want to see what direction the next book takes.

Once you get three quarters of the way through it’s hard to put down. How can anyone expect Alyce to be on their side when she’s constantly betrayed?
