this was so beautiful, these are the type of books that remind me of why i am a hopeless romantic. a soulful love can even defy the laws that make up your very being.

Cute book. Even though I hate the typical falls in love then a problem occurs and they overcome it, this one falls flat because the problem isn’t really built up much. Moved quickly and I finished, but felt a little anticlimactic.

This was really sweet! I found the main characters a bit different in that they were older, more mature and had realistic lives. I liked how their relationship developed but, I wish that it was both slower and more. I feel like it moved too quickly in a sense, and I would’ve liked more of a development, more moments and falling for each other. The story is good and the idea is really unique! The side characters are well written and developed, especially Fizzy the best friend, I need more of her!

Romance books have a typical storyline. Girl meets boy. Girl hates boy (and vice versa). Boy and girl have to cooperate/collaborate aka spend time together. Boy and girl fall in love. The big reveal that could destroy their relationship. The resolution. A happy ending.

But I still read them because they make me feel like I could have a wonderful love story too some day.

Okay, this was cute. I put this book off for so long and honestly thought I would never read it. The concept was so very unique and was fun to see its execution even if the science went way over my head. I really liked the characters and thought they played off each other well with the grumpy/sunshine. I also like the side characters in the book as well they were fun and I’m actually wanting the second book to read Fizzy’s story. I also really liked the epilogue being in his POV it’s sometimes the one thing I’m missing in these books so that was a nice added touch.
