Middle grade graphic novel-- science fiction. Two marine biologists suffer a boating accident. One of them dies at sea but the other is rescued. Later we find out that the two men were brothers, and now the living one is raising his niece. Sophia spends a lot of time alone while her uncle tries to run Aqualand for funds and also keep up with his own research. One day an antique diving suit shows up, operated by three sea creatures. The creatures and their diving suit persona befriend Sophia. Eventually the uncle finds out, the evil investor in the Aqualand park finds out, and the creatures have to escape. But not before they free some of the captive animals at Aqualand.
This story didn't seem like it flowed very well. The author's note at the end may have been more helpful at the beginning, as it explained a bit about the three sea creatures and how the suit came to be. Fun though, with great illustrations.

The art is beautiful of course but the story is only ok. I did not build a connection with any of the characters. There are some great themes and messages, but the storytelling was rushed.
