It was a fun story that gets progressively darker and more introspective the further you get. I really enjoyed it overall with some things that may not be for me, but night be for you.

Overall I enjoyed this book, the concept and execution was fun and entertaining and had more thriller elements than I was expecting which I really enjoyed. However the world building for hell was pretty lack luster leaving more confusion than I would have preferred and the ending left much to be desired. Because a time loop essentially happens it would have been nice to see the fall out of what happens after Mickey is saved and what happens to calamity. I would have liked to see more of Sean as well. The book though was a good read overall and a fun way to start the year.
