Another well written Krueger book. I appreciated the focus on his kids in this book and seeing how they’ve grown and matured into the people they are now. I so hope Stephen is OK.

Ugh, this is a DNF for me. Sad that after 12 books where I enjoyed most of them, that this is where I end this series. I know the risks that when you read secular authors, that you won't always agree with their worldviews. But it's annoying when an author will throw in something out of left field in order to appease a political agenda.

Less mystery/suspense than in most of the Cork O’Connor novels. but I like the time spent on fleshing out the O’Connor family and the people they interact with.

Another great outing about Cork O'Connor and his family and extended family. I do so love this series and its insights of spirituality through native American lore and teachings. This time, an old case brings deaths and new terror, and spiritual plans seem to go awry. I will continue on the journey soon with Cork's next adventure.
