5 STARS!!!

Wow, the emotions I had for the characters in this story!!! Ugh, I thought this was a funny romcom type of story, but it was SOOO MUCH MORE!!! This was a fleahy, well thought, emotional journey. I loved the banter these two mc had. I wanted more from the side characters. Is it wierd, I really want an extended epilogue with Lily reading the final letter?!?! Or a scene with the Lil brother with them as a family?!?! I could continue to read more from these characters. I just finished so all I can keep saying is Soooo freaking good!!!

Loved Grant and Ireland. Grant’s story was so heartbreaking and redeeming.

A very fun book with a cute, billionaire CEO storyline.

After being unfairly fired from her job as a TV news reporter, Ireland sends a (very) drunken email to the company owner telling him where he can shove his job, basically.

Grant is a workaholic and after a disastrous relationship 7 years ago, now only has time for physical affairs, but Ireland's crazy email and subsequent encounter in a coffee shop with her makes him interested. She is different from anyone he's met, and he wants to get to know her better.

I loved the banter. The set up was funny. Grant's POV was really great to read too. I enjoyed the pacing if their relationship, from Grant basically chasing her, to first date, first kiss etc.

There is conflict and it's interestingly dealt with. There is a dual timeline for some of the book which helps to explain why Grant feels the way he does.

All said a very enjoyable read.

This book contains descriptive love scenes.

This had the makings of a great romance. And then the pregnancy happened and blew it out of the water. I loved the first half of the book and many parts of the second but the absurdity of the extremely convenient pregnancy (even though they were using TWO forms of birth control) was just lazy storytelling. Such a shame. So much potential. Still worth the read but could have been so much better.
