not my favorite katee book but I keep her on such an author pedestal that it shouldn't be surprising
Dark smutty retelling on Peter Pan where the villain gets the girl.
I love Tink. She is the picture of tiny but tough. I also appreciate the short and plus size representation. I think her being a fashion designer is fun!
I like Jamison Hook as an MMC, I love that he falls first and has always been in love with her. He also clearly cares for her and would show it if she would let him.
This book has a plot where the smut is pretty dominate. A lot of it takes place in the underworld a sex club. Plus it's enemies to lovers/forced proximity/ marriage of convenience so most of the story focuses on their sextual and emotional relationship.
I like in the end that they save each other!
They are entertaining and this is my second time listening to it. I don't take them to seriously. They are smut with a plot and that's just fine.

I AM OBSESSED with fairytale retellings and this wicked villain series is the spiciest twisted retellings I've ever come across.
This Peter Pan retelling has more spice than a bottle of hot sauce but boy do I wish I could step into Hook's shower and wash some of the dirtiness off...or get dirtier.

I am really enjoying plowing my way through the wicked villains series, and it’s emphasizing something I love about romance which is the happy ending. These books aren’t for the faint of heart - the overarching plot of the series involves territory disputes which ofc involves murder, kidnapping, etc. I would never be able to read a series this intense without knowing that it will end well for the main characters. I love that because these are romance novels, I can explore a different subgenre without reading something completely distressing. Aside from that, katee is just really good at balancing super hot sex and care and tenderness, which I feel like is sometimes missing from erotic romance.
