Good book, still needs better editing because it's getting more noticeable. I like it better than the previous book.

This was my favorite of the Wicked Villains series. I enjoyed it but I am taking a pause from the extra spicy romances. Tink and Hook are super cute together, but I am a little in over my head with these books for now.

My favorite in this series so far! I love curvy Tink and sexy, smitten Hook. I love that there's a slow burn (at least, by K.R. standards) and more investment in plot and characterization than previous books. There are some of the same issues here as in other titles in this series, esp. repetitive prose and events.
For instance, it's a given that Tink will end up killing Peter, because that's the same way it's gone in every book in the series.
It also frustrates me that these stories always invest more time in setting up the next book than in developing the character of the antagonist. There are a lot of heartfelt moments, though. I even laughed out loud a couple of times. I listened to the audio version, which I recommend.

this is SO biased because i love tink and that's my sister. also i have never read scenes like that and i have no idea how i was not completely beside myself the whole time because WOW.

hook is sweet, i guess. like none of these men i would ever spend my life with but they can love and be loving and i think that's good. they don't outright abuse anyone just for the sake of abuse (though jafar and jasmine still make me uncomf) and take bdsm very seriously and safely. i appreciate that because it's a world i'm unfamiliar with but i do believe there has been a stigma, so reading it play out in a way where everyone was comfortable but respected and on the same page was very enlightening.

she was cuteee!

Tink's contract is over at the Underworld, and Peter is hunting her wanting to reclaim her. Hook offers her a deal, marry him, and have his protection. But nothing is ever as simple as a marriage contract, and feelings could get in the way of her freedom.

I liked Hook, but everyone else annoyed me.
