The perfect book to read when working at Albertina modern … easy, quick, romance
No creo que esté sea un libro que deba tomarme en serio, por eso no me di mala vida mientras lo leí... pero eso no lo salva de que la trama sea inconsistente, los personajes medio desubicados y las situaciones demasiado exageradas. Aún así me pareció entretenido la primera mitad del libro, incluso hizo que me riera de lo absurdo que era todo (pase un buen rato gracias eso, no lo voy a negar), pero después del 60% (más o menos) se puso medio repetitivo y tedioso al punto de llegar a aburrirme un poco.
En fin, no es la mejor lectura del mundo, pero me hizo pasar un rato divertido y también tomo eso en cuenta, así que está bien.

DNF @ 47%. I just couldn’t get through this book. It’s advertised as an enemies-to-lovers romance, but it’s not, even a little bit. It’s “enemies” in the sense that the FMC’s dad is blackmailed such that she has an arranged, fake marriage to the Bratva pakhan. However, (and this is a good thing) both the MMC and FMC act like adults about it and are not antagonistic with each other. It’s refreshing to read about an FMC who takes the hand she’s dealt, accepts it, and does the best she can in her situation. However, it’s not enemies to lovers – it feels more like friends to lovers. There’s also no romantic buildup, from the first meeting both characters are into each other, and the romance comes across the way a young teenager’ crush would.
