How to Love Your Neighbor is an enemies to lovers (perfect, sign me up) but it fell very flat, since the reason they’re enemies ends randomly with no consequences or any impact on the rest of the book. Felt like there was no conflict at all. A lot of exposition that takes away from the main couple and main story. I got very bored reading this, and ended up skimming through the ending just to finish it. The two main characters are pretty boring and nothing is interesting or intriguing about them. I couldn’t resonate or empathize with Noah’s goals and inner struggle. (It also felt a little bit like Grace was written from a “pick me” perspective- like, wow she’s not like other girls she is capable of thinking and likes compliments about how smart she is instead of how pretty she is omgggggggggg)((news flash, women can like BOTH…….)) Anyway, HTLYN got me thinking about what makes enemies to lovers the best trope and what can make enemies to lovers unconvincing and a cringe read. But that’s a wholeeee other post.

Sweet. Late 20s/Early 30s couple with family issues. Learning how to pick your family and cut ties with toxic relationships. CUTE!

Was alright but not a fan of the writing and switch up between dialogues.

This book just was not for me. The main characters annoyed me. There didn't seem to be a real connection between Grace and Noah. It was an enemies to lover plot, but there was not enough tension for that to really work. I only finished this book because I was reading it for NetGalley to review.

This is the second time I tried with this book. Last time I gave up at 25%, this time at 50% and skimmed to the end. This was just so boring and bland, I didn’t find there was any chemistry between Grace and Noah. While I can appreciate how detailed the author was on design and home elements, it was too much. I felt like this was lacking everything. I didn’t love the narrator. I don’t think this was well written, at one point the mains compare their personalities and relationship to salad dressing…like come on.

This bored me from the beginning. It did have potential it just wasn’t for me. It didn’t draw me in or keep me interested. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the free preview in exchange for an honest review.
