Honestly, this one was a struggle for me.
we went 90% of the book without them actually getting together. Carrying a 20 year grudge with a 4 year fling in between just didn't make sense.
I did cry at the end but nothing much else that I loved about this book.

Similar to book 2 of this series, this book had tons of angst and was pretty emotional. It was clear both characters were struggling with defining and accepting what they were.
Loved both epilogues, multiple years into the future is the best way to do an epilogue because you see where they really end up in life. And you also get to see just little life moments that aren’t doing anything to progress the plot because they don’t need to, they’re just more insight into the couple.

Wow. Idk that I’ve ever hated 2 main characters as much as I hated these two… this was toxic and in no way believable.
"The Bully" serves up another enjoyable installment in Devney Perry's Calamity Montana standalone series, offering a blend of tension, nostalgia, and small-town charm. While it may not be my favorite in the series, it certainly delivers a cozy and entertaining read.
Nellie Rivera’s move from Denver to the tranquil town of Calamity, Montana, promises a fresh start—until her high school nemesis, Cal Stark, shows up. The dynamic between the two main characters is a classic enemies-to-lovers trope, filled with playful banter and underlying tension that keeps the story engaging. The diary entries were a delightful addition, adding depth to Nellie’s character and providing a unique glimpse into her past and present emotions.
What I loved:
