i think this book would have been 3 stars for me and then the ending with the opposing point of view made it all come together so well. also, i love morris

It’s a pleasant surprise - I rarely enjoy contemporary or romance so I didn’t even think I would like it in first place. The tone was impassioned but funny in Andy’s voice, then we get to see breakup from Jen which it suddenly feel choked and familiar. I as a female also shared feelings and anxieties by Jen but never genderalized it. I even feel ashamed to admit negative feelings and anxieties. Now this book has made me reflect and see those differently. As a fiction, it has a heartwarming ending and gives me a good time.
