I did and it ruined my life. I found Andy endearing but I wish we had gotten more of Jen’s pov throughout to stab at Andy’s unreliable narration. Charming, light hearted, I will continue saying good bye, and try to accept that you may not want me💌

the first 2/3rds to 7/8ths of this book annoyed me. Like I got very close to not finishing it many times (I didn’t quit because i bought a copy of it at The Strand and I really felt obligated to read it.) I was just not in the mood for listening to a white boy whine about his lonely heart and miserable existence. But then! I really enjoyed the end of it - even before it switched over to his ex’s point of view. I still don’t know if I would include it on any top ten lists but it end up being not as maddening as the first chunk.

This was such a wholesome read. Although the main character was it what Sabrina carpenter could only describe as a manchild, he had great character development and the ending was so satisfying and not cliche and cringe at all. Just an addictive plot with a nice ending

Even if women like me came to the realisation that in this lifetime, they didnt want marriage or kids, the society makes it very very difficult for them to go ahead with that decision, constantly inducing fears of being alone forever and what not. Its something I think about almost everyday, and for which there doesn't seem any plausible solution except maybe forming friendships, but its quite difficult in this time and age to form meaningful ones, especially with like-minded people/people in the same boat.
