Mikhail & Bianca: A Perfect, Beautifully-Romantic Bratva Marriage- 5 Stars
This is my first review of 2023 and this book was an amazing way to start my reading in the New Year!
Disfigured Bratva Enforcer, Mikhail has always had a fascination with Prima Ballerina, Bianca and has admired her from afar by attending her dance performances. Unbeknownst to him, Bianca is the daughter of an Italian Capo. Mikhail is more than happy to volunteer to marry Bianca in order to cement a merging of the Italian & Russian crime families. The pakhan is concerned with communication between Mikhail and his soon-to-be wife and that the marriage will be difficult for Mikhail due to his dilike for being touched due to PTSD. Mikhail agrees anyway to prevent another of his comrades being assigned the task.
Bianca is reluctant marry and if being forced to by her father. Howver, he forces her hand and she finds herself married to the Bratva enforcer and intriugued by him. She's determined to break through the stoic, distant demeanor of her new husband to show him how beautiful he really is despite his physical flaws. This book was sort of a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. One of my favorite stories!
I don't want to give too much of the plot away but I found myself having alot of "awww" moments in this book. It was a refreshing change from the brutal enforcers that like to make their new wives cry, bully them and/or force them into sexual situations before the ink is dry on the marriage certificate. Mikhail was kind and patient with Bianca. Bianca accepted her role as his wife and I'm so glad that I didn't have to deal with the cliched "runaway bride/revenge plotting" new wife nonsense. We got to see Mikhail's soft side towards Bianca and his brutal "one cap to the dome" side as he tortured his enemies by night and kept his soft carresses and affection for Bianca. I simply loved their connection!
If you like these types of Bratva novels and want a change from the usual "brutal Bratva" nonsense. Then this is definitely the book for you!
Happy reading!

This is expected trash so it will be rated as such.
Writing and plot holes will be ignored.
Mmc is a giant teddybear and so is the fmc. They had a wholesome relationship.
The spice was not it.
We need more female friends for our fmcs in romance pleaseeee!

NOW WE ARE TALKING !! I WILL ALWAYS EAT THE SINGLE DAD TROPE !! BUT ADDING MAFIA × PRIMA BALLERINA IS A CHEF'S KISS. I LOVED THEM SMMMMM
I enjoyed this book as well! Very cute! Not quite as funny as the first but I cared for the main couple! Very fast paced so a good quick read.
this book should not have been this cute. this adorable. this was such a beautiful and emotional read. loved seeing the sweet bond between mikhail and bianca, and how she kept trying to convince him that she's in love with every part of him, including the scars he thought were ugly. i have no words. this is the second book that i've read by this author, and i think she might just be my new favorite.
