Lots of omg’s and wtf’s?! A solid thriller that is easily digestible and a quick read with some legitimate surprising twists!

3.5 Stars -- The ending was crazy--so much of this was crazy, but so entertaining.

What I enjoyed:
- I understood why the victims were such easy targets due to their grief and craving for justice
- I found it believable that severe trauma could affect a victim in a way that can turn sinister and deadly
- I liked most of the characters in this! I empathized with Amanda and Ruth, I liked seeing their characters develop as the book goes on, and I liked Scott's POV although I had to suspend my disbelief a bit too much when it came to him
- The first twist was great!

What I didn't enjoy:
- The second twist was a hot mess and really made me question my sanity--I mean, are we really supposed to be rooting for a killer? Are their actions excusable just because they bring about a twisted kind of poetic justice? I'm not ok with that.
- While I found this to be super fast-paced and full of action, I admit that a lot of what happens in this book can only work if you're willing to overlook a lot of things in exchange for being entertained
- I don't agree with Farrow's decisions in the end. I don't agree that one person gets justice while at the same time, others are robbed of it. At the end of the day, two wrongs don't make a right.

Anyway, I read 70% of this book in one sitting so I'm giving it an extra star just for that.
