trippy comic goodness
Stunning artwork & writing. The Floronic Man storyline was the highlight...a captivating glimpse into the mind and philosophy of Jason Woodrue. Less successful for me was the appearance of Etrigan the Demon...I always find his rhyming speech an annoying gimmick.
Overall fun, bizarre, scary, and downright peculiar.

I haven't read anything about The Swamp Thing previously, but I do love Alan Moore so I was excited to start this. It was an amazing read! My favorite part was the autopsy, and the amount of anatomy and physiology that was given in respect to the swamp thing. Can't wait to get my hands on the next volume.

A linear climax with grand scale, this epic of Swamp Thing is more esoteric and less pulpy.

Unlike any other comic DC was producing in the 80s, Alan Moore turned a meh superhero comic into one of the greatest horror comics ever written. This horror wasn't all about blood and gore, although there is some, it was a more subtle sense of dread that slowly built to the terrifying climax.

This book contains the numbers 21 to 27 of the saga of Swamp Thing. This saga is  were Allanmoore became written before. He work on watchmen.   I try to read this book one time on 2020 and the second time is on 2024.
Before let’s see some positive aspects and negative aspects.

Positive aspects:
  • The art work
  • The plot twists
  • The themes that the book talk about.

Negative aspects:

  • The rhythm
  • In my case the the first 2 comics are started slow except from a twist of the nut.

I’m my opinion this don’t is a bad comic but , Isn’t for me. Because of this I give 3.05 stars of 5.

It takes a while to get going (partly due to tying up the previous story) but then it's trippy and great. I'll definitely preserve with the Moore run, if just because I hope it delves deeper into the green. Wood's colours are also superb!
