Omg!!!! That Ending!!!!!!!!! God Damn it!!!!!!! If anything happens to him I’m going to scream!!!!!!!
I felt the same way about this as I did the first MK book. I think it’s tates style.. more a of a slow build why choose. Lots of plot building & tension with the characters.
Hades is a badass though & I really like her! I’m excited to see how exactly she’s going to have a relationship with all 3 guys.. they are all so different from each other & I think that’s what I like most! Excited to read the next book!

Last time I read a Tate James book, I binged the entire Madison Kate series in a week and went into a book slump 🫠🫠
So… here I’m again binging another one of her series 😂 I am so happy to be back into Shadow Grove and learn who Hades was. In the Madison Kate series, Hades was mentioned but never appeared until the ending of the last book.
The plot got me hooked from the start and I love how it makes me doubt everyone and makes me wonder what’ll happen next. I’ve been switching between the audiobook and reading the book and I am loving its narration 😍😍 I might just stop reading it and just play the audiobook for the rest of the series 🥹
Just like in Madison Kate, I don’t trust anyone and I feel Hades will get betrayed by everyone 😂

I haven't read dark romance books in years and I wanted to try the thrill again, and moved by the many positive reviews this book has. But tbh, its not even good for reading p4rn scenes, which are like 3 I think, and not that well written.
The main character is a 23y/o mega rich self-made mafia boss (already funny) who's ready to kill anyone that goes against her. The overall world that the author created is unrealistic so the book should be taken as such, but it's impossible IMO to overcome the bad writing, the superficiality of the knowledge of anything that the author describes (the mafia environment, the supposed rich houses and locations and objects, he'll, even the s6x scenes). Also the overall cringe and so obvious plot developments, they make it seem like the soft p4rn books that my grandma use to buy at the newsstand were masterpieces. Surely will not delve into the saga
