I'm really late to the party on this one, but I think that may have been beneficial, as I didn't really have much to go on when I started reading. I rather enjoyed the book-within-a-book aspect, and though I figured out the twists earlier than I was likely meant to, it was still great to see how it was all revealed within the pages and what that ultimately meant for the characters and their story as a whole. Hopefully it won't take me four years before I finally get around to reading The Sequel!

This is such an interesting concept and was well executed.
The down side; it was very, very slow at the beginning and, the MC’s ego. If he could control his ego, a lot of the issues would be alleviated.
