Was a very fun quick read that did make me laugh out loud a couple times. I did think there was a couple plot holes and contradictions but didn't really take away from the storyline. Will be looking forward to reading more from this author.

someone said india holton writes books with "instalust" and I've never read anything more accurate. which is a shame because i do like her writing style but this book was so ass.

Alex O’Riley despises witches, after a terrible childhood with a witch he’s been bent on never interacting with one... except now a beautiful and sharp witch keeps popping into his mind every since she stole his briefcase.When a powerful amulet has everyone vying to steal it, Charlotte and Alex find themselves entangled together on the hunt for this amulet... and entangled in more than just the hunt... but rather each other and the bed sheets as the chemistry between them heats up. Charlotte and Alex can’t seem to stay away from one another, they love to bicker and banter, and they with a treasure hunt on the go they’re in for an adventure as they both discover that there is more than just treasure their searching for but each other. This was a really sweet read and I adored the chemistry between Charlotte and Alex so much. I think this was definitely an improvement on the first book ( and yes we do get to see the couple from the first book in this one too). A cute read!

I loved this second installment by India Holton much more than the first. The written banter is funny, witty and exceptional! I loved the MCs interactions as well as Bixby (I am hoping the third installment would be about him and the maid 🙏). As for the storyline, I enjoyed it. It's full of action and entertaining, however a little overstretched in some parts.
