omg this book series keeps getting better. i love ms. holton's writing style and the way that she write's charlotte's pov and her love of jane austen--i can appreciate the similarities to my own life, let's just say that. also like literally the autumnal setting of the book made this the best book ever to transition from september to october. also i literally love alex and charlotte like OMG i can't. anyways pirates are in season rn bc the vibes were immaculate in this book. 5⭐️. (honestly like MORE than 5 starts, but i have to keep a system yk).

- they’re so ‘you are in love’ (taylor’s version) coded
- i loved all the Jane Austen & little women references !! (esp. the amy march one!)
- bixby may have just stolen the show - funniest character fr & I can’t wait to read his book !
- I loved seeing the dynamic of (esp) the pirates !! they’re so fun & a little out of pocket & im ALL HERE for it
- “He was her big scary pirate & she was safe with him”
- they’re so ‘you are in love’ (taylor’s version) coded
