this book made me laugh and i spent most of my study leave week reading this book rather than studying for my exam. it was a good book but it was a little slow and it frustrated me so much how the timing was always wrong each time they had a chance. 3 stars because of the lag and the frustration caused. 7/10 would recommend though.
absolutely hated the format of this book. read it through to the inevitable conclusion, but wished it had more substance and character development (largely difficult to do when it's made up of emails, letters and instant messages).
More like 3.5 stars. It’s a chick lit rom com story that’s told through letters and e-mails. It’s very cute and I’ll bet it was a cute movie. At some point though the “will they won’t they” went on for about ten years too long. Cute quick read though.

la verdad que este libro me encantó. yo me había visto la película hace un tiempo y ya de por sí me había gustado, pero no me acordaba tanto de lo que sucedía, así que leer el libro fue como conectar con alex y rosie por primera vez.
su historia me destruyó. amo los friends to lovers y los slow burns, y este definitivamente estuvo muy bien logrado. ver como se desarrolla la amistad y el amor que ambos sienten por el otro te genera amor, dolor, tristeza, todas las emociones, y sobre todo impotencia por ver que los caminos de sus vidas nunca parecían cruzarse.
si hay algo que me gustó mucho fue como estaba estructurado y narrado el libro. siento que al ser a través de mails, cartas, etc., le agrega una chispa de intriga a la historia que quizá no tendría si estuviera narrado de otra forma.
algún día lo voy a releer y volveré a sufrir junto a alex y rosie el amor que tanto les costó conseguir y mantener.
