I am definitely intrigued enough to continue but some things were pretty corny. On to the next!

There probably isn’t anything I can say about this book that hasn’t been said. But I don’t care. I’m gonna say it anyways. Holy crap this book was amazing!!

The book start with Mara waking up in the hospital with no memory of how she got there. Her parents tell her she just survived a terrible accident that claimed the like of her best friend, her boyfriend, and his sister.

Mara develops a severe case of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and starts seeing her friends everywhere. In order to help save her mind, her family moves her across the country. But it just seems to be getting worse. And strange things start happening to people around her. Trying to figure out what was real with Mara was enough to spin your head.

Then Mara meets Noah. Noah!!! He is just the most steamy. I loved ever scene he was in.

This book threw me through the loop so many times. The middle! The end! Oh my gosh. The twists in this just kept coming. Really there isn’t much more I can say without giving it away.

The only thing left to say is. Read it. Now!

I loved some parts of this book, and then there were also parts that I absolutely hated! I think that the whole book was over hyped.

THINGS I LIKED:
1. I loved the PTSD story line, I think hallucinations are some of the coolest things to read about. You never know what Mara is actually seeing, if it is real or not.
2. The super natural aspects of this book were introduced well. A very unique thing about this book is that there is no mentor or person that knows what the fuck is going on. Mara and Noah have to figure everything out for themselves
3. There were some amazingly funny parts, and some amazingly scary parts. Reading it was like totally a mind-fuck.
4. Mara calls Noah out on all the patronizing shit he does.
5. The whole added sub-story and climax of the murder of that girl was a cool addition, and nice cliff-hanger

THINGS I DIDN'T LIKE:
1. There are about 50 pages in the book that I think were literally taken from Twilight. The part where Mara and Noah spend the day together made me so mad, it just distracted from the cool parts of the story. I get that the author was trying to show some normality while Mara was taken the medication, but she could have made their date way cooler and more fun. So many things were the same, Noah was being patronizing and stupid. And the author just had to make him rich didn't she...
2. Sometimes the dialogue just sounded weird or awkward in my head.
3. Jamie (my favorite character) got little to no "screen time" in this book, he was one of the best characters and there were parts when he didn't show up for like a 100 pages.
4. Mara is annoying

Rating: 3 1/2 stars
