Beginning is a little slow, but you slowly start to find crazy things out and the ending left me in shock. So excited to read the rest of this series!

This book was absolutely awesome. I didn't expect much from it, but it turned out to just be an amazing story that leaves you with a cliffhanger. I'm off to get the second one!

this book made me feel so nostalgic. it literally transported me back to 2013/2014 days. it’s not perfect but i still enjoyed the story.

sooo ngl it feels a bit weird to read YA romances bc they’re so young so it feels a bit wrong ykwim? like im not tryna be imagining no 16 year old kid at my big age.

i really enjoyed the first half of the book because it focused a lot on the paranormal aspect which i’ve really been craving lately, but the second half focused more on the romance which i honestly didn’t really care for. i did like noah’s character though, he was cool ppl. he can definitely hang.

i loved that it had me pretty much guessing the whole way through, and that there were some creepy dark themes. honestly just what i needed rn. i almost wish it was a bit darker tho.

the writing felt a bit choppy. and the dialogue was cringe but i honestly didn’t mind it. it gave me a good laugh bc this was written over a decade ago so i kinda loved the vibes.

ANYWHOOO im actually excited to read the next book because it ended on a cliffhanger and i’m invested in the plot now.

im so happy i had my best girl iqra reading with me

The only reason this book isn't a 5/5 is because I didn't really like Mara. However, the rest of the book is perfection. The twists, the mystery, the trills. I'm here for it all.

When I first started reading I was pretty discouraged by the writing style. It seemed pretty abrupt and immature but I'm SO glad I stuck with it. This book completely captivated me. I didn't want to put it down.

jumping right into the second book bc that cliffhanger????? i'll admit. half of the time i had no idea what was going on - what was real? what was fake? was it a dream? where am i? i felt as paranoid as mara. absolutely loved this and could not put it down.

noah???? yeah. he can tie my shoes any day thanks

What a great book, what a great book!!! An amazing twist of thriller and mystery that kept me flipping page after page after page.

Mara and Noah are wonderful characters, characters I just love reading about.

I am so glad I picked up this book!!! Took me long enough, and now I really wish I had the second book!!!
