Where do i start? I am pretty mad, like what on earth is this ?? I just wanna get inside the brain of anyone gave this book more than 3 stars! Like what you saw and read that made you believe this book deserves all this attention and admiration?
What a cliché story, what an average vocabulary, i can guarantee that Afnan with her basic English can write better than this book.
What i really hate about this one and many others, is sexualising every single move and action, it really affected my brain, now i don’t see people the way i used to, i started to believe that any move anyone does is sexualised, i have no trust or belief that they might have any good intentions.
Why every male character written by a female author has to be this way? Like are you desperate to have such a cold man in your life ? Is this what we really need? A heartless unbothered cruel man? Why do i have to keep reading about all these men? Women wake up please. Stop trying to insert in our minds that these men are normal and this is how they supposed to be treating us, a lot of red flags maaaannnnny of them.
I am not better after this book, i will never recommend it to anyone, and i will say it over and over again it’s such a waste of time.

Overall the story is really nice. She is a dreamer and a lover of romance. Due to book reading and believing in fairytales, he is the total opposite. Growing up with a dead parent and then a parent choosing a substance over you and continuously telling you're not good enough and comparing you to your siblings is just atrocious! No one deservers this.
So yes, I did enjoy this book but not as much as expected due to my lack of investment in the book.
However, I can't wait to read the next one, Terms and Conditions once February is done.

If I was someone who DNF’d books, I would’ve DNF’d this at like 9% but I pushed through and I finished!!! And it……. wasn’t good??
I thought that a romance book with a Disney World-like setting would be right up my alley but the characters were annoying, the writing style was flat (it also oftentimes felt like the author took the book too seriously which isn’t always a bad thing but in this case it made everything seem like it was moving in slow motion), and the banter truly felt forced. I liked Rowan and Zahra occasionally but I never really liked them together at all. The pacing was slow and truthfully the book was about a hundred pages too long. A let down from a novel that had a premise that made me feel excited…… oh well
I did, however, love that the author made a playlist for this book and included it at the beginning!! I think that was a really lovely and thoughtful touch
If this book put me in a reading slump I’m going to be so sad…

I’m not a fan of smart, but this was actually really cute. It was a little long and it dragged a bit and it was hard for me to imagine her blonde when her name is zahra because I just imagine her brunette, but she’s very pretty in my head I guess and I like the book
