Not bad. I liked this one better than the last Under Suspicion novel and much, much better than the last few (non Under Suspicion) novels that MHC has written on her own.

It was just okay. A decent read if you’re into a murder mystery. It felt a little bit far fetched
I guessed who the killer was halfway in but it was a good read and you can tell the plot was well thought out. I just found it far fetched that the motive was plain jealousy. Idk it could’ve been better I guess

Bruh.
I do this to myself at this point.
Major spoilers.
Let's pass over every single viable suspect just to have an outlandish ending.
Ex groom who would inherit two million dollars if she was declared dead? Nope
Best friend she stole an idea from and who was in love with the ex groom? Nope
Random guy she rejected ten years ago who is somehow also a serial killer preying on the groom's relationships? Yeah, that works.
And let's save you from a killer gunman by having you metabolize the drugs real real fast.
And fuck attorney client privilege bu the way. Let's pretend it's not unethical for the attorney to tell his client's name buisness to a complete stranger because he "feels bad" about the situation.
At this point in the series, I've recognized that the characters aren't even bad, they're just annoying.

Another good book in the Under Suspicion series! Threw me off for what happened with the crime. Sometimes it can be easy to predict what happened, especially after reading these books for so long, but I enjoyed this story in this series. Wasn't my favorite out of the three I've read so far but still a good time

Not quite the page turner that The Cinderella Murder was, but I will read the rest of the series.

I enjoyed MHC mysteries in high school but haven't had a chance to revisit them since. I needed a book with a wedding in it for the 2019 Pop Sugar Reading Challenge. This doesn't entirely fit but close enough. It was an enjoyable, easy read (in a good way). I think part of the joy of MHC is that the characters and plot feel familiar and comforting between novels.

Thanks in advance.
