And the story is building and building...

Who says that dystopian storys have to be only set round teenagers?! The main focus of Proper Gauge is the Major and the Deputy Sheriff, who are both in their 60s.

The characters are brilliantly written and I am looking forward to finding out more about life in the silo

Not a stand-alone like Wool, but just as well-written. In fewer words than many novelists, Howey has created an intriguing world within the silo. Political machinations and power struggles. Societal divisions. Finely drawn characters.

On to the next!

Yikes. Good, if darker than I expected. Howey really likes to leave you hanging.

Great follow up to Wool....hoping the next 3 will be just as good. I am really enjoying this story...even though it is dark, it's very well written and has well developed characters.

Mivel az első részre 4 csillagot adtam, erre csak 3at adok. Bár szerettem, sokkal kiszámíthatóbb volt az előző könyvnél, és ettől csalódott vagyok. Túl nagy elvárásaim voltak ezzel a könyvvel.

This series is gripping and expansive in it's claustrophobia. Very gripping dystopian. Highly recommended but you need to read them all if you're going to read any.

I didn't like this one as much as the first. It felt like it was a lot more background than actual story, setting up whatever comes next. As a result, it was really slow and somewhat boring. I'm hoping the others are better as a result of the setup this book gave.
