Please can we have more books like this! This was so fun and such a gripping read. It also got me out of the worst reading slump of my life.

The only issue I had with the book was that some of the plot points that happened in the book were kinda glossed over after they happened. Like when Dean tried to kill Saff, we never hear why he did it, what his threat was about, or even hear from him again cause he disappeared. No one else in the book talks about Dean or the attack afterwards, apart from when Sylvia briefly asks when interrogating Saff.

Even though some parts felt dragged or repetitive, the slow burn was so worth it. The last 3rd of the book had me on the edge of my seat. Not to mention, the way Saff's trauma was dealt with was so brilliantly done. Her healing journey was one of the best parts in the book by far. Will be for sure reading from Nicole Maser again

Honestly, way better than I initially expected. It's kind of like The Last Of Us (my favourite video game) meets YA genre. It's very slow burn, but effective in that. The first 2/3 of the book do feel a bit different than the last part, since there is way more happening then we're used to.

Iskreno, dosta bolja nego sto sam ocekivala. Nalik je blendu izmedju TLOU i YA zanra. Radnja je dosta spora, ne zuri se, ali je efektivna u tome. Prve 2/3 knjige imaju drugaciji osecaj od ostatka, jer se desava mnogo vise stvari nego na sta nas je autorka navikla.
