This was such a cute and refreshing read!
After finishing the last of us I was in zombie mood so I decided to start this book and although it didn’t really focus on them, I really enjoyed it.
What really stood out to me was how the story explored Maddie’s experience as a visually impaired woman.
The representation felt natural and never really shown as a burden and I really liked how Saff never once doubted Maddie.
The story left me smiling during some parts and my eyes may or may not have filled with tears on that one scene, I’m glad I picked it up!

i wanted to love it because i love zombies and i love sapphics but unfortunately not a fan
It’s like the Walking Dead, but gayer! Had the hardest time putting it down, ended up binging it in a couple days. So good — highly recommended if you’re into anything zombie related.

I was originally going to rate this 4 stars cause of how ugly this cover is, but then I went back to listen to it (audiobook), and ya ... 5 stars. Best slow burn I have read in possibly ever, it deserves all the flowers. Give me 10 more.
