I don’t know why this book works so much for a book that follows the “possessed teen” trope to a T. Maybe it’s because we follow these characters and we can tell the dramatic irony of their failures coming. 

Would’ve rated it 5 but I really got disappointed when the possessed girl  

killed her dog, Max
