This was the most Wattpad-Esque thing I’ve ever read
Hands down...absolutely the worst book I ever read and that is saying a lot. I don't know what to think of the book and I was even more confused to see it received high ratings. It deserves less than one star. I could not get past chapter 3. I thought it was a joke at first...just speechless.
Why have I waited to long to start this series? I'm so in love with this world already and I know it's just going to get better!
It actually took me a little bit to get into the book. I ended up DEVOURING IT. I couldn’t put it down. The story line and characters are just😍
I was curious about the book after playing the game version of it and honestly there isn’t much difference between them and the game version definitely got rid of some of the more cringe moments but otherwise the book is definitely entertaining.... highly unrealistic but it’s fiction so...
The first part of this book gave me such “boys over flowers” vibes I literally thought it was the same plot and I think that distracted me so much I didn’t even see where the story was going. At all.
So it’s probably on me that I was so surprised by the mafia thing. Could have put two and two together sooner but hey it was a nice surprise! And so not boys over flowers. I was really off with that one. Seriously how was I so unsuspecting I enjoyed this much more because I was so wrong about it lol

this book was fun but I listened to the audiobook and it was bad... like really bad. also the main character was such a pick me in the worst way possible. I like some parts of it but really I didn't want to dnf for my reading challenge (I am really behind).
