Love it! it got to my heart and got me all hot and bothered in a good way. 5 Stars and I can't say more because I need to continue reading.... I want more!

I had read Elite AGES ago! Like, when I still being introduced to this side of the book world that I never knew existed... So maybe somewhere between 2014-2015 and I remember loving the hell out of this book and Nixon and Trace.

Fast forward to a re-read in 2019/2020, not enjoying it as much as I did back then. But hey, we all grow, our reading tastes change and this is just one of those things.

3.5 - 4 Stars!

This book is kind of all over the place, both good way and bad way.

Also I am not entirely convince Nixon's badassness. I don't know if its the dialogs or what but he doesn't really seem scary for me.

Also...as much as I want to read the next book, I am not really a fan of triangle love....so...yeah...

I was curious about the book after playing the game version of it and honestly there isn’t much difference between them and the game version definitely got rid of some of the more cringe moments but otherwise the book is definitely entertaining.... highly unrealistic but it’s fiction so...

Great start to the series! Your never completely sure as what’s to happen for the characters and you fall for them quickly. The twists and turns keeps the reader engaged and enjoying the story. Truly a good read and would recommend it to anyone. The author is amazing.

Elite was an interesting book, hard to categorise really.

Trace wins entry to an exclusive school, full of the children of the rich and famous. sounds great enough.

but what a bizarre school! the students run the school, bullying runs rife...

Elite is very well written, can feel the emotions Trace feels, especially through the bullying scenes - yeah, I might have shed a tear reading it.

It was a bit hard to believe that the characters were mostly college age, they all felt a lot older.

I did love the interactions between Trace, Nixon, Monroe, Tex and Chase. enjoyed the little love triangle thing going on in there.

I hope the wait for Elect is not too long, as the teaser at the end of Elite has me intrigued.

Whoa! I literally devoured this book in one sitting, in a couple of hours. I have seen so many recommendations for this series, but I just hadn't had the chance to start it until now.

Boy oh boy did this story capture me. I was instantly intrigued and wanted to know more about this elite school and these really mean Elect student members.Nixon and Trace were sure something. I loved how she stood her ground and stood up to Nixon, and she didn't want to give up.

Monroe was a really great friend to her, and a secondary character that I liked. I also really liked Chase. So many things happen in this book, and while I guess one of them, there were a whole bunch of things I wasn't sure of until they happened.

The mafia family is very intriguing and I am enthralled by this series already. I can't wait to dive into the next book!

I was recommended this book by a co-worker and I'm glad she did! I finished this book in ONE DAY. It grabbed me by the first paragraph and didn't let go until I read the last page.

I love a forbidden romance, and this definitely has that. It has a bad boy (make that several bad boys), danger and death lurking around every corner. Did I mention a Love triangle too?

It definitely had me rolling my eyes at Trace's obliviousness to everything going on. But overall, I enjoyed it and plan on immediately starting the next book in the series.

Pick up this book if you like YA contemporary romance.
