It’s too bad there was so much sexual content in the book—that will prevent me from recommending this to younger readers (target audience). Had an extremely important mental heath message as well as international events.

There were some parts of this book I enjoyed and some parts I did not. I found myself towards the end wondering how some of it fit together in the storyline. Colleen Hoover interestingly told the story of a very disorganized and strained family.

I was told this one was one of her earlier books. I was also told it is not as awesome as her most recent books.

Based off of that I still don’t really know how I feel about this book.

It wasn’t bad…but it also wasn’t my favorite.

I definitely read it pretty quickly. And it was also fast paced, but for some reason I felt like the end was rushed through a bit.

Plus there was all the back and forth between Sagan and Merit. And then the confusion of the relationship and therapy aspect.

I did think the message that was portrayed in the novel was good though!
