Mika is incredible

Imagine being a whole adult . . . a detective. And this waif of a 12 year old girl comes through and notices all the things you should be noticing. Shameful! This was good. I'll likely read more.

Cute fun mystery. More of a kids book than I had initially realized so probably won't read any more in the series but it was good.

This is a quick read that kept you wondering till the end. I loved seeing the FMC solve the crime with her attention to detail. It was nice to see sometimes you need just a little push to become something.

I read this book as part of the StoryGraph yearly challenge! Excited to branch out and read something I wouldn’t normally pick up. Although on the shorter side it did make me want to keep reading but overall the writing was simple and I figured out the answer early on.

What a wonderfully suspenseful and satisfying mystery! I loved the teen sleuth teaming up with the curmudgeonly detective to solve a pretty gruesome serial killer mystery.
