In some ways this reminds me a lot of a Dan Brown novel, but without the constant need to look up random art pieces online to make sure I know what's actually happening in the book.
What makes this better is Enzo Macleod. Enzo is clearly very good at what he does and thinks of himself highly, but there are so many times in this book where he is wrong or needs help or has to rely on other people in order to solve a mystery that at humanizes him a lot.
Well not my favorite Peter May book (The Lewis Trilogy are among my favorite mysteries) I enjoy Enzo enough, but I'm happy that there are several more books about him.

Interested to see how the series continues. Not quite a 4 star, but more than a 3 star.

Mé první setkání s autorem proběhlo nad knihou [b:Ostrov Entry|27821760|Ostrov Entry|Peter May|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1447424582l/27821760._SY75_.jpg|26623828] a musím přiznat, že ani Francie a Paříž s jejími katakombami mě nedokázala uchvátit svojí atmosférou tolik, jako dva kilometry široký a tři kilometry dlouhý ostrov Entry.

I'am glad I listened to this instead of reading it because I know I would have killed The French names in my head. [a:Simon Vance|5602|Simon Vance|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1240014151p2/5602.jpg] is one of my favorite narrators, which is how I found this book in the first place. An unique idea to the old private detective story. I'am excited to listen to the rest of the series.
