I really liked this idea. I thought the execution was really good too. I read this in only a day. It kept me engaged.

I just loved this! A fresh story line for chick-lit; the overall premise was refreshing and adorable. Love the idea they were already married, but it still fit in rom-com scenes. I'm always a fan of the smart, independent female protagonist, and the band of bro friends was hilarious. I'll definitely be recommending this to people.

I absolutely loved this book! Gavin is a professional baseball player whose wife asks for a divorce but the last thing he wants is to see his marriage end. His fellow teammates introduce him to their secret "bromance" book club where they read romance novels and use them as manuals for their relationships. Gavin swallows his pride, reads romance, and learns how to court the woman he loves. The book is so cute and genuinely funny. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because of how cheesy the ending is, but it was still really good. I absolutely recommed reading it.

Eurgh 4 stars and NO NOTES ♥️ Probably a 5 star if I’m going by vibes alone but some of those sentences were just insane and I cannot in good conscience ignore them.

I fuckinnnnnnnn loved this. It was so wonderfully ridiculous at times and so heart wrenchingly tense at others. I wish men were actually this willing to open their eyes to the way the world works for other people. I’m such a creep for non-toxic masculinity, I’d bottle that shit up if I could and it was so nice seeing it. Don’t even get me started on Gavin’s stutter!

I’m so happy this is a series because I want more from the Bromance Book Club. Also, Malcolm? A total baddie

3.5 stars.

This was sweet and fun! I liked how it discusses the problems that arise in marital sex, and how they often go unacknowledged. Also, the stuttering rep was really nice too, don't often see that kind of rep in books.
