What a cute little book! Fun, easy read. Made me laugh out loud several times

an easy romance read with all the best parts of any Asutenian entanglement- an arrogant but well-intentioned lover, his earnest and righteous object of interest, and the number of scheming and unwitting characters that get pulled into their romance.

it reads a bit hollow because it is mostly dialogue and proceeds in a rather marching pace that progresses quite linearly. none of the characters are entirely like able and some of the conflicts are resolved far too easily.

BUT, it’s a fun book- nothing incredibly special but nothing entirely boring or unwanted either. if you enjoy a period romance, this book will definitely fulfill those needs.

Not the most sophisticated or original writing, but definitely a cute little snack of a regency romance.

Tacy Bridgertonowie wersja dla ubogich (dosłownie, dałam za tę książkę 10zł XD)

I was so motivated to see the mmc learn how arrogant and stupid he was! The writing was so bad but I did read the entire thing!

The biggest sin is that it’s fine. I was hoping for a modern reimagining of a regency romance but it was a straight up unironic take. So it was fine for what it was, but I just hoped for something a bit sassier I guess.
