A truly delightful period book that I read in a day.

I really liked selina but found Malcolm very annoying and arrogant.

AHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHH! This book is sooooo good!!! Like Omg!!! I loved all the matches (Especially Henry, i swear all book Henry’s are like amazing and have a piece of my heart lol) ummmm yeah. I don’t really have much to say, it’s a really good classic book, that gets into the plot almost immediately. And there is so much plot twists! I now really really want to watch the movie which also looks really good.

Okay I thought this was super cute. I’m still on the fence if it’s 2 or 3 stars.

I really think my rating of this is being impacted by the fact that I binged Bridgerton and absolutely am obsessed with it. This has a few similarities that had me looking at this book like a knockoff or cheaper version of the show. It was still super cute! Still glad I read it and I can’t wait for the movie!

A cute and quick read. Started to drag on a bit, but overall an enjoyable couple hours.

This was a great example of a book I wanted to like, but just could not get interested in. I made it roughly a third of the way into the book before I gave up. I appreciated what the story was trying to do, but the characters were cardboard cutouts and the dialogue was stilted. I wanted to like it, but I was disappointed.
