I LOVED IT! I honestly loved this one more than the original elementals series and I was so upset that it ended. The plot was amazing and it unraveled perfectly. I really enjoyed it. And that ending. Aargh...what is it with you and cliffhangers Michelle. Seeing Kate, Nicole and Blake again was also a lot of fun. Summer was a pretty awesome MC too and I can definitely relate to her. Also I kind of loved Zane. Probably more than I should’ve given his situation. His coldness to everyone made so much sense. I’m already dying for the next book in the series.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Was free on KU and I was bored. This book didn't change my mood, if anything I got annoyed and disappointed.

I had fun I think.

Pretty good read. It had me thinking this way and that way in how the story was going to go but caught me by complete surprise. Can't wait for next one.

I've wanted to read this book for a while but had to finish some of my tbr before I dived into it.

The book begins with Summer and Lara, college roommates and best friends who share their love of books, gossip, and Florida weather. After a freak event, we get more of a key to Summer's magical history. Her mother is also very witchy. Ah, when faced with conflict, Summer, of course, protects herself unknowingly.

Of course, she gets invited to attend Elementals Academy for witches with different specialties; it is not like Summer has a lot of choices here. But I love the new girl trope. She finds herself in Virginia. Oh, this girl is in for a surprise. Her roommate is bubbly and joyful, and poor Summer is still adjusting. I adore how the Greek gods and goddesses are brought into the story and how this book reads "like Twilight" and a bit like "Percy Jackson."

Zane is mysterious, protective, hot, and a water witch. But he seems to have his eyes set on Summer being all chivalrous. Their connection is apparent, but whether they act on it isn't.  Zane apparently is also a grade A, asshole. He is so hot and cold, and it's no wonder Summer gets whiplash.  Her magic is just as unexplainable as Zane's mood swings. Still, there are lots of references to Greek mythology and elemental magic.

Oh, I love how she doesn't fit the elemental mold, and how her fated mate brings it into the story is fantastic. Of course, her fated mate has some secret of his own. But, oh my god, they are doozy. Now, we're digging into supernatural myths and legends.

I love the brought-in ties to Norse mythology, and although this book reads very YA, it is with New adult characters. The story ends with fascinating revealed truths and more secrets to keep hidden. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. This book is a significant paranormal refresher from the sizzling ones as it focuses on the magic and secrets instead of constant intimate scenes.

This book is perfect! It’s like if hogwarts was mixed in with Greek mythology and gods and Norse gods

I had fun I think.

The story should make you move forward but unfortunately it's just a book that has multiple scenes from other books. I had high hopes of getting in but nope! This did not do it for me. It's unrealistic even for a magic school.
