I haven’t found a book of Jagger’s that I haven’t enjoyed and this is no different. The banter is great, the flow of the story and the character development is top notch, it’s fast paced and action packed. And the steam … is steaming! Ares is a delicious dirty talking greek god (pun intended) and Neve is feisty as all get out. Their chemistry is excellent! Would highly recommend if you like dark mafia romance.
definitely lighter than what i expected it but not a bad start ig. although on a not-so-awesome note it read just like every other arranged marriage mafia hate-to-love themed romance ive read so there was really nothing that uniquely special ab it tbh

This book was fire ! One of the best enemies to lovers books I have read yet! Ares is definitely one fierce strong man and to have the delicious Neve Kildare with her fiery spirit come into his life . It was like dynamite with these two an explosion of wills and lust. Oh boy the steamy scenes between these two, well my female friend you will need batteries and plenty when you read about these two. There are a mess of betrayal s that had my head spinning , all the way to the end. There was someone from Neves past that well isn’t a good person and I have to say that,
I got the literal goosebumps crawling when this came up as Seamus pushed Neve against the wall “Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.” He keeps on reciting and is omg i can only imagine the terror Neve was feeling.
The love Neve and ares have is unreal and the depths they go through is amazing.There is an Hea and I loved it.This book has destroyed me in a good way . I’m so happy I had the chance to read this book.
