i am in love!!!! this was everything i wanted in a mafia enemies to lovers romance. Ares is possessive, commanding leader for anyone who meets him. he knows how to own a room as soon as he walks in it. Neve is his opposite in most but one thing they both have is protecting anyone who they love. The tension between them the whole book was so fun. I did like Neve, but she did have her moments where i found myself annoyed with her for creating hostile situations with Ares when there was no need too. i also enjoyed the climax of the story but it felt slightly rushed. However i still loved reading this and would recommend it to anyone!

3.5 stars. Rounded down because it could’ve been under 300 pages and accomplished the same goal. It was good but nothing overtly special. I love enemies to lovers, however, some of this book felt super over the top.

Omg! Wow first Jagger Cole book & it did not disappoint. I freakin loved Ares & neve!! They were intense, s3xy, and I couldn’t get enough of them. The banter between them and the spice was HOT

Emm my first thought was it could be better with how the plot is going. Too rush and insta-love for me. It really caught me off guard when the perpetrator shove a gun in her face during the wedding ceremony and I’m like ooooooh interesting ahahaha foreshadowing of an inside mule because the event was intimate and close-knit between the two families. But then the villain plot was too predictable and a bit too unrealistic like it COULD’VE BEEN BETTER in terms of like the plot building, pace and storyline.
