I was surprised how much I enjoyed this read as I was putting it off for quite a while. I love the mafia genre in general but wasn't drawn to this series. These two main characters had a lot of chemistry, and the plot moved at a good pace and kept me interested.

3.5⭐️ the subplots could’ve been done a little better. Like we’ve never seen Neve do any schools work or the teacher giving he hard time but then suddenly the teacher said it was because bla bla and that she can see someone helped her find herself. That someone being our mmc. Literally when did that happen?

The plot twists at the end were good. Some I saw coming some I didn’t. But nonetheless it was a fine book. I was entertained, for the most part .

This was so good and had tons of sexy times. I loved the action and banter and everything about this. I can’t wait to carry on with the series to see who the others end up with.
