This book is like The Wolf of Wall Street meets Silence of the Lambs, with a side of terrifyingly detailed skincare routines. In short, it's memorable, disturbing, and at times darkly funny. But if you genuinely enjoyed this, I’m forwarding your details to the authorities.

So many thoughts. This is by far the most disturbing book I've ever read. Maybe the most disturbing book ever written? And maybe it was a mistake to read the majority of it in one sitting, but I just...couldn't...stop. Yowza. At the same time, I really have to say kudos to Bret Easton Ellis for really reeling me in to this story and actually making me feel sick to my stomach for many many pages. That's impressive alone. I wouldn't recommend this book to the faint-hearted.
