I’m not really sure how to rate this manga. What I was expecting from the cover was not what I got from inside. I’m curious how this story will evolve, but I’m not sure I’m curious enough to continue.

I had a lot of fun with this one. I think I would have loved it even more as a teenager. It's toxic but I'm here for it. The art is also absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to read volume 2!

mostly just a fun time but Satoko's chronic illness adds a compelling angle for how she interacts with others. (there is a surprising lot of things i wanna say abt her position as a woman, a disabled/ill one, class, her fathers motivations for arranging marriage, and her feelings of being burdensome/undesirable but I've not the brain to put it together smartly rn.) I don't know how this is intended to go, but I feel quite connected to her because of this and her wit. the male lead sucks in a fun way and the tension/psychological sparring between them has been fun so far. he's goofy and most intimidating in his manipulativeness. Art is nice n expressive n easy to follow the action!! yay
